Welcome to Ha Ride ET ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our ridesharing platform and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Ha Ride ET, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use Ha Ride ET, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

You must register for an account to use Ha Ride ET. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to legal retention requirements.

4. Services Provided

4.1 For Passengers

• Search and book rides with verified drivers
• View driver profiles, ratings, and vehicle information
• Track trips in real-time
• Rate and review drivers
• Cancel bookings according to our cancellation policy

4.2 For Drivers

• Create and manage ride listings
• Receive booking requests from passengers
• Update trip status and manage bookings
• Rate and review passengers
• Receive payments through the platform

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Driver Responsibilities

As a driver, you agree to:

• Maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle registration
• Ensure your vehicle meets safety standards
• Provide accurate vehicle information and documentation
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Operate your vehicle safely and comply with all traffic laws
• Treat passengers with respect and professionalism
• Honor confirmed bookings or cancel with appropriate notice

5.2 Passenger Responsibilities

As a passenger, you agree to:

• Arrive at the pickup location on time
• Treat drivers and their vehicles with respect
• Pay the agreed-upon fare for completed trips
• Follow the driver's reasonable instructions
• Report any safety concerns immediately

6. Vehicle Verification

All driver vehicles must undergo verification before they can offer rides. We reserve the right to:

• Request vehicle documentation at any time
• Reject or suspend vehicles that do not meet our standards
• Conduct periodic re-verification of vehicle information

7. Payments and Fees

7.1 Fare Calculation

Drivers set their own fares for trips. The total fare is displayed before booking confirmation. All payments are processed through the platform.

7.2 Cancellation Policy

Passengers may cancel bookings up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time. Late cancellations may result in fees or restrictions.

7.3 Platform Fees

Ha Ride ET may charge service fees on transactions. Current fees will be clearly displayed before booking confirmation.

8. Ratings and Reviews

Users may rate and review each other after completed trips. You agree that:

• Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
• You will not submit false, misleading, or abusive reviews
• We reserve the right to remove inappropriate reviews
• Consistently low ratings may result in account restrictions

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use the platform to compete with our services
• Share your account with others
• Interfere with the proper operation of the platform

10. Content and Reporting

10.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, reviews, etc.), but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the service.

10.2 Reporting Violations

Users can report inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or policy violations through the app. We will investigate all reports promptly.

11. Safety and Insurance

While we verify driver documentation, Ha Ride ET is a platform connecting drivers and passengers. We are not responsible for:

• The conduct of drivers or passengers
• The condition or operation of vehicles
• Accidents, injuries, or property damage

Users are encouraged to maintain appropriate insurance coverage and report any safety incidents immediately.

12. Intellectual Property

The Ha Ride ET platform, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

13. Privacy

Your use of Ha Ride ET is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

HA RIDE ET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HA RIDE ET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ha Ride ET harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another user.

17. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Consistently poor ratings or behavior
• Any other reason at our discretion

18. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

20. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Ha Ride ET shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Ethiopian law.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ha Ride ET regarding the use of our services.
